Empowering people to live well
with their Parkinson’s

Most people with Parkinson's only meet their neurologist for one hour each year, leaving them and their families to manage the numerous symptoms alone for the rest of the year.

We consulted 12 neurologists who all agreed that those who live better with Parkinson's are the ones who educate themselves about the condition and actively engage in managing their symptoms.

Taking proactive choices is crucial for living well with Parkinson's.

My Moves Matter is dedicated to improving the life of people with Parkinson's. This includes self-management of symptoms and support for clinical trials through the My Moves Matter app, along with medical nutrition therapy through NutriPD.

My Moves Matter App

The My Moves Matter app helps people identify their symptoms and understand what helps or hinders their symptom control so they know what actions matter towards their well-being with Parkinson's.

Thankyou.jpg

Thank you to all the women who took part in the UCC pilot study.

The first results are in and demonstrate the need for personalised care based upon the hormonal stage of a woman with PD.

Research

We collaborate on research with a focus on two specific areas - nutrition for Parkinson's and sex and gender differences in Parkinson's care.
